In this collaborative project with Tatort, a long-running German crime drama series, I connected my photography with an existing script. The first part of the project involved creating a photography series, followed by an editorial based on the story of a drug addict. I blended my aesthetic with elements from a Tatort script. This led to the production of an editorial and later an animation, where I used the photographs and editorial elements to craft a gritty, somber tone that conveyed the dark atmosphere of the story.
Imagine turning on jazz music, and piano emojis start dancing across the canvas. Bold letters slide in, one by one, into the “grid” formed by the repetition of shapes, creating a title that invites you to the festival. Geometric letters, much like musical notes, integrate seamlessly into the composition. Five leading dancers—represented by piano emojis—take center stage, followed by micro-typography of the lineup for each of the five days. Emojis, the fresh visual language, bring a playful and rhythmic flow that feels lively and full of energy, just like jazz.
This 3D project, created in Cinema 4D, reimagines the shape of a succulent.
It explores fresh iterations the structure and appearance of underwater plants, blending organic shapes with fluid elements. Mentoring by ROLI-Deluxe.
I created a set of symbols inspired by Wiedikon, a dynamic neighborhood known for its global food scene, trendy bars, and design stores. My research focused on graphite, cemetery objects, and arrows in different shapes. Wiedikon’s cultural diversity and mix of historic architecture make it the perfect place to wander and draw inspiration for my pattern, which was later printed on fabric. Mentoring by Offshore.
